Taste Opens Feb. 1!
In February, Founders Hall will welcome a brand new breakfast and lunch spot. Taste will be on the College Street side of the third level of Founders Hall. Dubbed by The Charlotte Observer’s Helen Schwab as a restaurant to watch in 2010, Taste is a collaboration between the Compass Group, Johnson & Wales and Bank of America. You can expect stations with a variety of options, plus the chance to observe J&W students as they gain experience.

Friday Acoustic Concert Series
Grab your lunch every Friday from noon to 2 p.m. and enjoy tunes from the area’s finest jazz and acoustic artists. Performances are free and open to the public.

Aria Tuscan Grill and Bar La Scala Now Open
Aria Tuscan Grill, the latest offering from renowned restaurateur Pierre Bader, is now open. Aria serves delicious Old World comfort food in a stunning modern Italian setting. The 6,800-square-foot restaurant seats 170. A rustic chef’s table in the kitchen accommodates eight guests, while a private room seats 50. Aria Tuscan Grill is also the exclusive caterer of the newly renovated Founders Hall, which can host up to 2,000 guests.
